Garlinghouse on XRP’s Role in U.S. Reserve

Amid the ongoing XRP vs. Bitcoin debate, entrepreneur Grant Cardone weighed in, saying comparing Bitcoin to XRP is like comparing Godzilla to a lap dog. He argued that XRP is a “binary bet” and would require federal inclusion, while Bitcoin, on the other hand, is an “asymmetric long-duration investment” that doesn’t need to be part of a federal reserve.

In response to these views, pro-XRP lawyer Bill Morgan pointed out the contradiction in the argument. He wrote on X (Formerly Twitter),
Let me get this right. XRP needs to be included in the crypto asset stockpile of one country even though it has been a top 10 crypto for over a decade without being in a stockpile. Bitcoin does not need to be included but its supporters have a meltdown at the mere suggestion it is not the only crypto to be included.
