These days, everyone is talking about web3 and what it will mean for the future of the internet. Indeed, web3 will have many implications for the internet; a better user experience across the board and more emphasis on decentralized tools. This has led to more emphasis within web3 on equity among users and the creators of the internet.
Unlike some of the existing issues in web2, this new iteration of the internet is looking to help users have more control and say over the digital spaces that they occupy. One company that is looking to do this is StrongNode Edge, a startup that recently announced not only its CEX launch but also the rollout of a slew of features that will help secure this equitable future.
StrongNode Edge Makes its Debut
As per an official announcement from the company, StrongNode Edge will launch its first-ever CEX listing on MEXC. The listing will be held on March 14, 2022, with SNE/USDT pairs being available for purchase.
Ahead of this launch, MEXC will hold a trading competition among its users that will see $40,000 worth of SNE, StrongNode Edge’s native token, being given away. For now, MEXC will support the SNE token on the Polygon network, but later in the year MEXC will support it on the Ethereum network.
StrongNode Edge’s Upcoming Features
As part of its commitment to a healthy Web3 landscape, StrongNode Edge has announced two of its top upcoming features.
First, StrongNode Edge will launch a feature that allows users with smart devices to connect to its network. The idea behind this is that most people don’t use all the capabilities of their devices, whether that be computing power or RAM power. By connecting to the StrongNode Edge network, users can sell this to commercial bodies and receive compensation as the SNE token.
The other feature that will be launched is a decentralized Virtual Private Network called dVPN. As with the smart device feature, users can receive rewards for their contribution to the dVPN. This is done by signing up to be an exit node and the reward will be as SNE tokens. The tokens are also the way by which users can pay for the use of the dVPN.
The dVPN will be launched by the end of the second quarter of 2022 and will require a StrongNode ID to sign up.
The Bigger Picture
Both the dVPN and the smart feature work towards the same goal, which is to create a better web3 experience across the board. By giving users access to tools that will help them secure themselves and also make money off their devices, they are empowered and put at the centre of the digital economy.
As web3 fully emerges, it is clear that equity is the name of the game and that projects like StrongNode Edge will make sure of this on all levels.
